What is Pilates and its benefits.

Pilates is a system of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s. Originally designed as a rehabilitative practice, Pilates exercises (as they are now known) are nowadays worldwide popular system combining the benefits of both yoga and conventional trainings. The goal of Pilates workouts is to achieve a balance of strength and flexibility, the balance of opposing muscle groups and better balance in the body when moving through all of life’s activities.

Dance workouts:

Whether you haven’t danced before and you’d like to give it a try, or you are an experienced dancer, our Dance workouts are for you. We propose Latin and Belly Dance classes. Learning to dance is a great way to get in shape, build confidence and increase self-esteem.

  • Latin dance: Lively and rhythmical, there are many styles of Latin dances such as the Cha-Cha, the Mambo, the Rumba, Samba and also Salsa, Merengue & Bachata‏. These dances are now performed all over the world as Latin-American dances in international DanceSport competitions, as well as being danced socially. Known for its sensual hip action and sexy flair Latin dances is fairly easy to learn as most of the dances are made up of the same basic foot steps. Also Latin Dance is the most pleasant way to lose weight!

  • Belly Dance: belly dance is a gorgeous way to get fit, have fun, and get back in touch with your sensuality. The graceful hip drops, rolls, and pivots of this dance form utilize muscle groups in the abdomen, pelvis, trunk, spine, and neck, working with the body instead of against it. Belly dance is based on movements that come naturally to the female form. Add to this In this day and age of almost continuous stress, the subtle rhythms of belly dance and the traditional movements are calming. It's hard to worry about deadlines at work when you are thinking about getting that next drop just right, or while making sure that you are in time with the music.

Why private lessons

We offer one on one sessions. The advantages of individual tuition are:  the instructor can control your performance and prevent any injuries + the Instructor can modify the exercises making them easier or more challenging: the instructor designs the workout which will meet your unique needs. Add to this you may choose the time that is convenient for you and your own frequency of workouts. Together we win better results for you!

The Workout lasts 55 min and has the following structure:

-          Warm-up

-          Basic part: complex of original pilates exersizes or dancing class for getting your body to shape

-          Stretching.

The clothes you need: all you need are comfortable clothes and socks.

Please ensure we receive at least 6 hours notice for a cancellation of a private lesson, otherwise the full lesson fee will be applied.
